The runner, Faith, is played from first person perspective, and every mission is a point-to-point journey over the beautifully designed cityscape. Mirror’s Edge is a new kind of 3D game, where speed and timed jumps are essential. This means you have to play levels repeatedly, learning the best routes and avoiding falls. When you’ve practiced, it’s an exhilarating experience, but it can be frustrating to begin with.
