Virtual world for open-ended, imaginative play.
Miga Town: My World is a new addition to the Miga Town series. To spark the imagination of 6 to 12-year-olds, the game has kids exploring the city scenes and interact with all the items they come across. The game comes with three free scenes at a hamburger and milkshake joint, a clothing and apparel store, and an apartment. If these scenes aren’t enough, parents can purchase more scenes for a small fee.
Is Miga World free?
Miga Town: My World is a free, open-ended virtual world where kids are free to explore (similar to another kid’s game, Toca Life). Here, there are no rules or guidelines players have to strictly follow. Kids need to simply move the objects and characters to a variety of locations; in each room, players can tap, move, and interact with every item.
For example, they can take out the food from the fridge, cook it in the oven, open and close the doors, and so on. Parents should be wary of the items. One instance is the before and after poster that says ‘Better Me,’ and a statue that says ‘rich.’ Children can also interact with the other characters staying in the rooms. From a third-person perspective, they can change their clothes, accessories, appearance, disguise, etc.
My World’s straightforward user interface is expected as it is a game for toddlers to pre-teens. Kids will still find entertainment from the characters, props, and settings. It should inspire them to explore the role-playing and storytelling elements. The game doesn’t have the same amount of details and options as the Toca Life series, including the ability to record their game (which is commonplace in kids’ games who want to share their imaginative stories with their parents).
Great starter game for kids
Miga Town: My World is a small role-playing game that kids can learn from and enjoy. When ‘more-is-more’ for children, this game has a limited set of characters and locations. Parents may need to purchase the additional locations after their child has explored the three free locations that come with the game. This makes the game more suitable for toddlers that are new to sensory toys and online games by expanding the things that they can do in it.
