Go Rogue

There are rogue androids in the factory. Tasked with finding and destroying these androids is one giant robot who can see everything and controls the factory itself. Will you be the robot, or will you be an android on the run?

Multiplayer Tension

Mass Exodus is great example of asymmetric multiplayer in virtual reality. The player who controls the giant, sinister robot does so through VR, and can see the whole map. They are tasked with finding the other players. The other players, using regular controls, take on the role of the rogue androids, and have avoid capture by fooling the VR player, hiding, and even using other android players. The graphics in the game are as good as any virtual reality game on the market. The aesthetic is grim, dark, and gloomy. Perfect for the dystopian theme of the game. There are three maps for added playability, as well as a number of power ups for both the rogues and the seeker.

Nice Concept, Needs Better Execution

The idea, look, and feel of the game is great. There are some issues, however. Play starts to feel a bit repetitive after a while, and there are some bugs, such as the seeker not being able to pick up rogue androids, as well as game lag. With the positives, however, it’s hard not to recommend this game.
