MACU Mobile Banking is a free application developed by Mountain America Credit Union, available exclusively for iPhone users. Designed to make banking easy and convenient, this mobile app allows users to transfer funds between their Mountain America accounts, make loan payments, and move money to other financial institutions. The app also offers a secure way to send and receive money with Zelle, using a US mobile number or email address.
In addition to transfers, MACU Mobile Banking provides a mobile deposit feature that allows users to deposit checks by taking a picture with their device. It also allows users to apply for credit card, auto, RV, ATV, motorcycle, and personal loans. Users can schedule, edit, and cancel bill payments with the Bill Pay feature, and set up text and email alerts based on balances, transactions, and more for added security.
MACU Mobile Banking offers a range of features for debit and credit cards, including the ability to freeze and unfreeze a card, change/reset a PIN, request a new or replacement card, set travel notifications, and update card information for shopping sites, streaming services, and online subscriptions from one place. Additionally, users can access their FICO score for free (must have a checking account or loan) and find the nearest Mountain America branches and surcharge-free ATMs across the US through the app’s branch and ATM locator feature.
