Take and edit screenshots
Lightshot (screenshot tool) is a mobile version of the Lightshot program for desktops. This free photography app lets you capture, share, and edit screenshots. However—as devices come with screen capture and image editing capabilities—some users will find it unnecessary to install this app.
Share and find similar screengrabs
In Lightshot (screenshot tool), there are two ways of capturing any part of your screen: the floating screen grab button or the default power and volume-down buttons. Once a screenshot has been taken, you can edit it as you wish, whether it’s adding text or drawing an arrow.
You can also save images to your storage or the cloud. There’s even the option to search for visually similar screenshots, much like Google Lens. Unfortunately, its collection of editing tools only includes the barebones, so you can’t adjust the brightness or contrast or add cool filters.
Only for basic image editing
As a whole, Lightshot (screenshot tool) is a good app. It lets you use either the floating button or your device’s default hotkey. Though it features a built-in image editor, you can’t add filters or adjust an image’s brightness. Hence, you might be better off using another photo editor.
