Compatibility Patch For The Lanterns Of Skyrim II
The second installment of Lanterns Of Skyrim II is now available for download. As with the first mod, this one is made for Oldrim and brings the game’s features to a whole new level, adding a whole lot more compatibility and better game play. This patch also improves the mod’s major feature: its compatibility with more mods, including the newly created overhaul of the entire continent of Skyrim.
The biggest improvement is probably the overhaul of the continent of Skara i.e., the whole area surrounding the main land mass of Skrythwater. This was done, as I mentioned above, to make Oldrim compatible with the official Nordic mod that has been released in the last few months. The result is the most complete overhaul of the game that can be now offered, that doesn’t rely on cutting-edge technology or complex scripting. What you will get instead is a whole new continent with many more towns, villages and locations to discover and explore, all of which were enhanced and made more compatibility with other mods. This not only makes the game more exciting but also ensures that the game’s various mechanics will work flawlessly with every mod that you use.
One of the most important things about Oldrim, and the Lanterns Of Skyrim II, is that it allows players to have access to a huge selection of weapons and armor, many of which were not available for vanilla players without the help of an overhaul. This is again thanks to the compatibility patch made by WiZkiD. This patch improves the vanilla equipment of the game, adds brand-new weapons and armor, removes the obsolete items and enchants and restores the various items that were missing or removed from the game due to technical incompatibility. As you can see, this overhaul certainly makes Oldrim more complete. There are many more compatibility patch notes available on the official site, so you can look at them and determine whether you want to install them or not.
