kubic – A Minimalist Puzzle Game with Escher-esque Puzzles
If you’re a fan of minimalist puzzle games, kubic is a game you should try. Developed by Pixel Envision Ltd., kubic is a unique game based on M.C. Escher’s art, impossible objects, and other geometric designs. The game challenges you to construct the goal configuration from a number of pieces, and it’s not as easy as it sounds.
The game’s design is simple and clean, with minimal art, and it features over 60 escher-esque puzzles divided into five groups: Ocean (Blue), Desert (Orange), Mountain (Purple), Sky (Green), and Escher (Mixed). Each group has a set of optical illusions that will test your spatial reasoning skills. If you get stuck on a puzzle, you can simply skip it and revisit it later. There’s also an in-game hint system to help you get started or get the whole puzzle solved.
Kubic is localized and supports 12 languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. It also supports Google Play Saved Games service for progress syncing between devices.
Overall, kubic is a challenging and addictive puzzle game that will keep you entertained for hours. Just remember to plan ahead and build figures from back to front.
