Klifur is a free sports game that makes use of nonsensical physics in an indoor rock climbing setting. This game requires you to solve puzzles in order to reach each level’s final destination. Some steps only allow you to hold onto it with one hand or foot, while others allow up to two.

Klifur is made by Torfi, the same developer of A Firm Handshake. While there is no single way to get through each level, you will be able to earn stars when you complete them with fewer moves and in less time than the developer.

Exhibits an entertaining challenge

There are only 12 levels for you to go through in Klifur. The gameplay is also quite simple and only requires you to drag and drop the character’s limbs onto your desired platform. However, you shouldn’t underestimate its simplicity; it simply makes it more charming. Players will be able to focus on the character completely with no distracting backgrounds or NPCs.

The squishy physics of the game also adds an extra level of difficulty so you don’t breeze through all the levels in a snap. There are times when you will need to swing your character or adjust their position the slightest bit in order to reach the next step. You also need to keep an eye on your stamina bar so you don’t fall off the wall.

One pressing issue that can be seen in the game, however, is the difficulty of properly grasping your character’s limbs, especially when they’ve been twisted and turned in a number of ways. This also makes it tricky to attach yourself to a grip. One thing: even though you’ve managed to stretch far enough to hang onto it, the low sensitivity can ultimately end up with you failing the level.

Great for casual gamers

Overall, Klifur provides an entertaining premise that players of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy. It also features humorous situations while moving your character in each and every way you can think of. However, there is still room for improvement when it comes to the ability to hold onto your character. The sensitivity greatly affects gameplay and becomes quite frustrating to deal with.
