Compile Your Code While You Compost Your Coworkers.
It’s Compiling!, written exactly like that, is a free multiplayer fighting game where you and one other player duke it out with swords. The game’s stick-figure graphics are stylized after an office and indicate that it’s made for employees in a workplace, though anyone can play it.
Randomized aspects and cute jokes
In this battleground, the winner takes home a functioning computer while the loser receives a blue screen. It is off-the-cuff jokes of this nature that define It’s Compiling!, as well as slapstick violence with no blood or gore: just you, your coworker and what must be a part of foam swords. The controls are basic and presented at the very start of the game, making it easy to play. Unfortunately, the game only works with two players, and in our testing it was somewhat hard to get the game working, though once it was cached in memory it was fully functional.
Fun for everyone, though not for the family
Though many people outside of the tech industry will get the game’s jokes, they’re a part of an experience that almost any geek will enjoy. Though It’s Compiling! has a few deficiencies, it is what it is: a simple game designed for filling wait times.
