Fallout New Vegas Interior Lighting Overhaul Mod – How To Do It?
Interior lighting overhaul is a great mod for new Vegas created by sarge198 and killergrimm for his new game mod for fallout: new Vegas. It is the main goal is to enhance the immersion and realism of the fallout universe, especially in the ruins, caves and vaults. There are many small changes that will not affect game play drastically (such as removing shadow), but will greatly enhance the look of the game world. This type of lighting is used mainly in the “Melee” portion of the game.
I believe there are two types of Interior Lighting Overhaul mods, one is for the interiors and the other one is for the exteriors. If you choose to install an interior lighting overhaul, then what you are doing is changing the lights, candles, glow effect, wall lamps etc, so that they will make the area much more real looking. So the lights are very real looking and so are the candles. The mod can also enhance the lighting of certain items such as the beds, showers, dressers, chairs, shelves etc. You can also add lights to containers, to make them look more lifelike.
In order to install this mod, first you need to go to the Documents folder of fallout new Vegas created by sarge, then you need to find the meshes and texture folders. After that, open up the console and type “help oldfern”, this will give you all the information you need to know about installing the mod. Next step is to install the meshes and textures into your meshes directory. Follow the instructions given. It took me a while to do this, but it looks great! I hope that you like the new interior lighting overhaul of fallout new Vegas created by sarge and me, hope you have enjoyed.
