Free idle game about being a mafia tycoon
Idle Mafia – Tycoon Manager is a free tycoon simulation mobile video game that lets you build a crime empire. Developed by Century Game, this idle game has the theme of the mafia, wherein you can manage insidious businesses and take over cities to generate more money for you. Similar to other idle mafia games, you will be dabbling in crime to earn cash, but you can also focus solely on tycoon activities to fuel your finances.
Mafia for world domination
In Idle Mafia – Tycoon Manager, you begin as a low-level goon for the boss and must complete missions as the manager of an area in order to climb the ranks. The first mission involves buying out a business establishment, which introduces you to how you can acquire most of your buildings to automatically generate money. Just tap on them to get your earnings once they show the money icon.
Upgrading businesses will rake on more cash—but won’t change the duration of their cooldown. Nevertheless, it’s pretty easy to start earning big bucks quickly since the first few buildings will generate money within a few seconds. More and more buildings will have longer durations, but bigger rewards, so upgrading is highly important. You can’t take over other ventures if you don’t have enough cash, after all.
There are other gigs to do, too, like fighting over establishments—and the Capo characters you collect in each city have stats and special abilities for this—and crimes like robbery and kidnapping. The end goal is to basically conquer the map. The gameplay is pretty simple, but there’s a lot of things you can do. There are building animations for your businesses to amuse you when you check on their progress.
Engaging as an idle game
Overall, Idle Mafia – Tycoon Manager can be considered one of the better idle mafia games around. It’s easy to pick up, and resource generation is quite easy to do. You really just have to upgrade your buildings, check back every now and then, and complete missions. Perhaps its biggest downfall is the lack of a creative plotline. After several levels, the gameplay will get repetitive due to the lack of engaging story elements.
