Time to move into the farm life
House Flipper – Farm DLC or “Farm Flipper” is a simulation video game that lets you enjoy the fruits of your labor by becoming a farmer. Developed by Frozen District and Empyrean, this 3D indie building game is an expansive downloadable content add-on for the popular home-remodeling simulator, House Flipper.
Similar to Farming Simulator 22, House Flipper – Farm DLC features the option to create your very own farm and raise crops and livestock. However, it also still offers basic gameplay mechanics from the base game, as you’ll require House Flipper installed to be able to play it.
Are the House Flipper DLCS worth it?
House Flipper is a hit 2018 simulation game that was developed by Frozen District. While its 3D graphics for the houses you have to repair and remodel aren’t the best, its gameplay made it pretty popular as you can painstakingly fix up properties to earn a profit. This includes cleaning, painting walls, laying down tiles, installing fixtures, and more. You can also fix and personalize your own home.
The latter is where House Flipper – Farm DLC shines. Here, you can start up your own farm or ranch, by repairing an existing farmhouse. You can plot out where animals will live and crops will grow, too — and there’s a whole slew of gameplay mechanics involving farm chores, as well. However, there won’t be any property selling involved, like in the base game.
In terms of house-remodeling mechanics, the biggest addition is the ability to easily add an extra room to the house. There are around 7 DLCs available and there’s no need to get them all since some just add themed items like some of the DLCs of The Sims series. However, the base game can only go so far with its content so its DLCs are usually worth playing.
A farming life inside a house-remodeling sim
All in all, House Flipper – Farm DLC is a great addition to your collection of House Flipper content. While it doesn’t give you the option to sell farmhouses, it’s still a nice change of pace to the daily grind of fixing up places you won’t be living in.
