Homemaker – Expanded Settlements Video Mod Review
Players who wish to create their settlements very unique can consider installing Homemaker – Expanded Settlements. This mod adds more than 1,100 new craftable items to your settlements, many of which are unused assets from the original game. One of the best additions is the addition of fence posts and light poles, both of which can be repaired or upgraded. The mod also adds a new skill, repair cost, which allows you to upkeep your settlements efficiently.
The only downfall to this mod is that it doesn’t include any of the optional add-ons like improved settlement gift boxes or improved vendor lists. However, I found that the one aspect of this mod that disappointed me the most (other than the fact that it didn’t include vendor lists) was the fact that all my settlements would display the same generic graffiti over. I decided to look for an overhaul of this problem, so I downloaded several different settlements and styles to compare and eventually settled on the one below:
I haven’t looked back since and highly recommend downloading Homemaker – Expanded Settlements if you’re looking to overhaul your settlements in a big way. If you’re looking for a mod that will add just enough content to your game while keeping it optimized for performance, then you might want to consider going with another similar overhaul like Advanced Settlements. Both of these mods have had great reception, and are both great tools to help you increase your settlements’ value and add variety to your game play. Just make sure you check out the optional add-ons first before buying either of these mods. And now, enjoy your games of Fallout in style!
