Reddit Sidebar – How to Hide the Reddit Sidebar
When Reddit is open in a thin window, any link will expand to fill the width of the window and it will fill any amount of space you have on your screen. However, when you open an article in a completely different tab or window, the sidebar may appear.
This presents a problem because Reddit uses the sidebar to show comments in an article, which are displayed when you hover over the article. If the sidebar appears, then you won’t be able to view the comments and you will have to move back to the first article, which is not ideal.
This has prompted Reddit to create a patch to remove the sidebar when it is opened in a new window or tab, and the patch has been released.
This patch has been released into the public alpha version of the web browser and the mobile version of the browser and is the version that I have developed and tested.
However, if you don’t like this patch or you use a browser other than the web browser and the mobile version of the browser, then this application is for you.
This application allows you to hide the Reddit sidebar when you are browsing Reddit.
If you do not want the sidebar to be shown when you are browsing a subreddit, then this application allows you to do that.
