A wave-shooting FPS VR game

Guns’n’Stories: Bulletproof VR gives you two pistols and a smattering of a story line to follow. The game is not open-world, but you are free to explore the small locations in a very limited way as-and-when you are dropped as the story progresses. It is not difficult to complete, but the wave-shooting system lets it down a little.

A first-person shooter in the old West

Your goal is to shoot your way through the old West in this VR game. The game has tried its best to stay away from being cartoony, but if it is not the visuals that make it look cartoony—it is the terrible dialogue. The developers have gone for a realistic look, which is difficult when dealing with modern VR programming technology. This is a full game, which means it has a bit of a storyline and numerous scenes in which you may have gunfights. The bosses are a little kid friendly, which was obviously a deliberate decision, but it may put off hardcore gamers who were maybe looking for something a little more adult-friendly.

An arcade shooter at heart

What killed the Wii was an abundance of casual games and very little for the hardcore gamer who wants plots, themes, and an evolution of play. Guns’n’Stories: Bulletproof VR has a smattering of each, but it is still a casual arcade game at heart. It is far better than a great many other VR games that were released the same year, but it is still an arcade shooter, which may not appeal to some players. Still, the settings, characters, shooting actions and game effects are far in advance of many games VR games that were released in the same year.
