Google Calendar Weekend Highlighter is a Chrome add-on developed by TheBlackbird. It is a free program that falls under the category of Browsers and the subcategory of Add-ons & Tools.

This extension allows users to customize the color of weekends in their Google Calendar. Users can choose two custom colors and two custom days, and those days will be highlighted with the selected background colors. This feature is available in the Day, Week, Month, and Custom views of the new version of Google Calendar web pagesand beyond).

Upon installation, users will be redirected to the options page where they can choose their Google Calendar’s page language, the two weekend days, and the two colors. However, it is important to note that sometimes the highlighting may stop working. In such cases, users can try clicking on an empty space on the calendar or refreshing the page (F5) to restore the correct highlighting.
