The goal of this tool is to provide a convenient way to explore different types of cellular automata (CA). With the help of Golly, you can read and write RLE, MCell, and other formats of the game of life, and also download the game rules and patterns from online archives. Golly is a tool that allows you to easily explore the world of cellular automata and is a perfect tool for both beginners and advanced players of the game.
What is a cellular automata?
A cellular automata is a self-replicating, autonomous, and autonomous agent that can perform simple functions of life-like behavior, such as generating random numbers, switching states, and adapting to their environment. They are used as a simple tool to study the properties of cellular systems and to make computer simulations of various biological systems. The rules and behaviors are applied to each individual cell in the population. A typical example of a cellular automata is a simple cell with two states: live or dead. When the state of the cell is alive, it will be alive, and when it is dead, it will be dead.
