Free fantasy idle and merging game
Gold and Goblins: Idle Miner APK is more than a tap game, it’s a crossover between idle and merging games. The goal is to mine for gold. Two ways to earn gold: manually via goblins or automatically via a mining hut. In the ‘hut,’ the game will collect gold in the background so you’re still earning even if you’re not playing. When you want to play the game, you’ll need to hatch goblins and manually drag them to a corresponding rock.
How to play Gold and Goblins?
Gold and Goblins: Idle Miner is a vertical strategy game for mobile developed by AppQuantum. At the bottom of your screen are five options. The option in the center shows a picture of a goblin, a piece of gold, and a number. This lets you know how much it is to purchase a goblin; the cost of each goblin varies in the game.
Once you’ve purchased a goblin, a wooden barrel shoots from a cannon and onto the left side of the playing area. You will need to click on the barrel to hatch one goblin. It’s a redundant feature so hopefully, the developers will one day allow a goblin to just appear after you’ve purchased it. One game tip is to purchase an even number of goblins, allowing you to merge them all together.
For example, you purchase four goblins. This allows you to create two new goblins, which can also be merged together. What’s strange is that after you merge the two new ones, the game creates a new powerful goblin that it says has been merged a total of three times. This means the game only counts the number of times you’ve dragged them together instead of multiplying them.
Just a step above idle games
Gold and Goblins: Idle Miner is more of a merger game with offline play. This is because you progress more in the game the more you task goblins to clear the playing area and move on to the next mine. What idle mode does is gather gold for you, allowing you to purchase more goblins the next time you play. Besides eliminating the unnecessary barrels and improving the merging rules, the game offers a good time for players looking for a casual game.
