A VR visual-creation and box-fighting game

Fractal is a VR game where you use your paintbrush to create odd shapes and colourful designs. Occasionally, you see small box-like things that you may destroy by painting them with your virtual paint brush.

Paint odd shapes into the city outline

Fractal gives you a virtual brush, and you may use it to paint different shapes into cityscape. The city itself looks very plain and flat because there is very little colour in the city, there is no texture and very little shading. You may add colour to the city with your paint brush. There are also enemies in the game that try to smash into you, and it is your job to paint over them to destroy them.

There is not a lot to do in the game

Fractal allows you to alter the way the gaming environment looks, which is okay, but there isn’t much to do after you have played around with the brush and made a few shapes. Some people claim that the design is artistic, but it is mostly lazy. It looks as if the developers stumbled upon some of the effects rather than them actually designing them. Fractal looks like a student project that was created as a piece of coursework. It is unclear why somebody would buy this game and keep it in their library.
