Keep up-to-date with what’s going on outside your window
Too much surfing the net can mean that you occasionally forget to look out the window. Keep up to date with the weather with ForecastFox.
ForecastFox is a handy Firefox add-on for weather forecasts. It takes its data from Accuweather.com and brief tests here at Softonic showed it to be fairly accurate. As with most add-ons, it is easy to install. In contrast to a lot of add-ons, however, ForecastFox also has good configuration options, letting you control where your location, where you want the information to appear on your browser and how you want it to look.
ForecastFox allows you to set multiple location profiles, as well as choosing what icons you want to use and whether you want your forecasts to appear in metric or American measurements. Once applied to your browser, ForecastFox displays the weather forecast for the current day and a variable number of subsequent days – from two to seven.
Clicking on the icons will bring to the Accuweather website, either to the forecast for that day, an hour-by-hour forecast or five-day one. You can also access a radar image of weather in your location. Hovering over the icons brings up a slightly mor complete forecast for whichever day you have picked.
ForecastFox: a simple add-on to prevent the weather from taking you by surprise.
