Premium football management simulator

Football Manager 2022 Mobile is a paid sports simulation game from gaming titan SEGA. As the name implies, you take on the mantle of a football manager tasked with leading your team to the top of the league.

This is a welcome upgrade, especially for players of Football Manager Mobile 2018 and Football Manager 2020 Touch. Enjoy an upgraded league roster that’s offering over 60 gaming leagues for you to conquer. You also get 25 of the world’s top football nations, with one of them being the base of your own football club.

From scouting to coaching

Football Manager 2022 covers all bases of being a football coach. New scouting tools will now allow you to sign the next generation of geniuses and future superstars. This creates a unique opportunity to form a squad of promising newbies and established veterans, a dream for coaches and fantasy football players worldwide. Additionally, these upcoming players have recommended positions, giving you an idea about the plays they’re suited for.

One of the good features of this program is that as an in-game coach, the game accommodates all players–experienced or new to the app franchise–by featuring tactical templates. You can implement an entire game plan for everyone based on actual strategies used by actual coaches on their respective teams. This way, you can either manually assign players to implement a play or use any of these predetermined strategies.

Unfortunately, the game is still plagued by bugs. Players report the game switching display size, stretching and distorting the graphics. Others find their screens frozen with the buttons unresponsive. This negatively affects the entire game experience, limiting the enjoyability and taking players off their zone. Another issue among players is the design of the interface, with the pink and purple layout not sitting well with a number of players.

Good improvements, still unfinished

With its expansion of the coaching responsibility with the scouting of new players and its accessibility with the use of tactical templates, Football Manager 2022 has built over its predecessors in the franchise with great improvements. Unfortunately, the entire experience is held back by its persisting issues, which range from distorted graphics to freezing screens. Though the game has great features, it’s not worth the price you pay.
