Red versus Blue in a cartoon civil war

Fight for America is a free single-player game of top-down action and strategy. America is divided into a war between the Red and Blue teams. Your job is to build up defenses and then let the enemy attack. If you’ve made the right moves, you’ll claim a whole state.

The mechanics are similar to games like Capture The Flag. This is because the objective is to reach the enemy team’s flag. However, the focus on earning money and making upgrades in an expanding playing field is similar to other idle games, like Money Print Idle.

One state against 49

Fight for America takes place in a cartoonish version of the US in a state of civil war. The player controls the Blue side, which has just one state under control. The computer controls the Red side, which has taken the other 49 states. Your job is to send a single Blue fighter into battle and claim the enemy states.

Earn money to upgrade your firepower

The fact that you are a single soldier against an entire army may sound unfair, but as you kill your enemies, you will earn money that you can use to even the odds. Certain areas allow you to build gun turrets, electric defenses, and other utilities that can then be upgraded. You can also boost your soldier’s hand-held weapons.

Customize your character

Although your character starts out as a featureless blue figure, you have a few ways to customize him. Some visual alterations, like sunglasses and headphones, are added automatically with level upgrades, while others can be obtained via a paid subscription, such as a cape.

Appropriate for all ages

Although the official description makes it sound like a gritty saga of terrorism, this is a cartoonish game that is appropriate for children. However, the simplicity of the gameplay will get repetitive after some time: one state is much the same as another.
