Volume booster and equalizer app
Extra Volume Booster Equalizer is a free audio application for mobile by developer Magic Mobile Studio. It’s an equalizer app that helps users change the sound from their speakers and headphones with various adjustment tools. It can also help boost volume levels to hear things louder.
Similar to other apps like Equalizer FX or Bass Booster Equalizer, Extra Volume Booster Equalizer features a simple and intuitive interface that lets users tweak their sound and boost volume levels right away. It’s a system-wide implementation, thus the changes you make will apply to all, including speakers, headphones, and the apps you use.
EQ and boost
When you want to change the sound coming out of your speakers or headphones, equalizer (EQ) apps can let you do as you want. If the volume output is not enough for you, there are volume booster solutions that come to the rescue. Here then comes Extra Volume Booster Equalizer, an app that combines both functions into a single intuitive and convenient package.
This nifty app boasts a five-band EQ to let you adjust frequencies across bass, mids, and highs. Just below it, knobs for a Bass Boost and a Virtualizer sit to add a 3D effect to the sound. Alternatively, you can select from presets depending on the type of music or signature you want. Changes will apply to your speakers, wired headphones, and Bluetooth wireless earbuds.
Moving over the Booster function, you can manually adjust a knob to your preferred level, or choose from presets below it, ranging from 30 to 175 percent. With that being said, do be wary of using this particular feature as it can cause permanent hardware damage to your devices if it gets too distorted at higher amplifications. Use cautiously and sparingly if possible.
Great but proceed with caution
All in all, if you need a good EQ app that’s easy to use and work across all devices and app, Extra Volume Booster Equalizer is a solid option to consider. The booster feature also works quite well, but you do need to be careful with the knobs a bit. Nevertheless, this one works as it should and it’s still worth a try.
