Checking OneDrive Files on Devices
Explorer for OneDrive helps users check the status of their OneDrive files from their device. This will ensure peace of mind whenever they have collaborative projects with their colleagues or classmates. Some of the viewable files in this app are documents, images, audio and videos. The app’s other function is creating a playlist from the saved audio in OneDrive and stream them online. Users can check out their files’ sizes and the date last changed for files saved on their devices.
Accessibility Features
The app requires users to open first their OneDrive account and allow the app’s access permissions such as “Access information at all times”, “Access and edit your OneDrive” and “View photos and documents on OneDrive”. “Access information at all times” allows users to automatically log in with their OneDrive account on their device. “Access and edit your OneDrive” lets users edit their files while “View photos and documents on OneDrive” lets users reach them remotely. Any files shared to the users as also accessible with this app. If the Automatic Camera Uploads option is active, all images saved when offline are immediately queued to be uploaded online. The Automatic Camera Uploads runs automatically even if the device has restarted and users have to transfer their camera photos. The app’s activity/full window indicates activities done on the OneDrive account.
