If you are familiar with DOOM, understanding the mechanics of Doomori will be easier. Both games have the same gameplay of shooting everyone in sight to avoid dying. In this game, however, your enemies are cute creatures. Additionally, the storyline has humor. Although, unlike Doom, this game is short and takes only about 30 minutes.

Omori meets Doom

Omori is an internet game that gained popularity due to its anime aesthetic. Here, players explore a strange world full of colorful friends and foes. DOOM, meanwhile, is a shooter game where players fight hordes of demons and the undead. Doomori is an indie game that takes both gameplay and combines them into one platform, giving players an action-packed game set in a colorful, anime-style world.

Here, Omori left the white space, where she lived her entire life, by picking up a gun and shooting the door. But, more than the beautiful scenery, what she met outside are creatures out to kill her. With your gun, your goal is to shoot everyone you come across. Be careful, though. These creatures are also armed, and getting killed means the end of the game for you.

You can move using WASD keys and aim and shoot through your mouse. You can also pick up new weapons as you explore. As with other shooter games, you will meet and fight bosses at the end of every stage. Additionally, the difficulty level increases as you progress. However, as it is an indie game, expect shorter gameplay. In fact, you can finish this game in about 30 minutes. 

Is the game good?

If you are a fan of both Omori and Doom, then Doomori is for you. This app takes the best of both worlds, giving you a thrilling shooter game set on a colorful map. The mechanics are very straightforward, and the increasing difficulty gives you enough challenge. However, the short run time can be disappointing, especially if you enjoy this type of game genre.
