Solve puzzles to keep the princess in danger!
In (Don’t) Save the Princess!, you have to solve puzzles to stop a brave knight from rescuing your captured princess.
Each level is a single screen, on which you have to place directional blocks which will fire the approaching knight whichever way it’s pointing. In most puzzles, you have to layout the blocks in such a way that the knight is shot towards your hungry green monster.
It’s all mouse controlled: left click picks up a block or releases it, right click cancels it. To begin with (Don’t) Save the Princess! seems odd, but you soon get used to sending the hero to his doom. The puzzles start easy, and get gradually harder, but never impossibly so. The 24 included levels shouldn’t be too much of a challenge, but it can be quire addictive.
If you need more at the end, you can create your own levels, or on the developers site you can download some additional user made puzzles. The sound and graphics are basic, but don’t need to be flashy.
In (Don’t) Save the Princess! as well as ingenious puzzling, you get to be the bad guy for once, which makes a refreshing change!
