The Digg-a-meter is a simple little Windows application where you type in the headline of your article and a summary (as you would on Digg). Then you click the “Calculate Digg-a-Meter Result” button and you will see the statistical probability of your article landing on Digg’s front page, based on about 8 different comparisions and calculations that appear to be common among about 80% of the articles that get on Digg’s front page.
Of course, Digg-a-meter is not perfect, but it has about an 85% accuracy level. Of course, you also have to make sure your article is interesting and most times you have to be the first to post about a particular topic, but the Digg-a-Meter can help you gauge whether or not your article will get Digged enough to make it to the front page.
