Dictionary Offline – Multilingual Translation Dictionary
If you are looking for an offline multilingual translation dictionary, Dictionary Offline by Dicklam is an excellent choice. It allows you to complete mutual translations of the world’s major languages. The app has a fast translation feature that shows translations as you type. The dictionaries are stored on the SD card so that the app works offline. Additionally, the app allows you to save queried translations to a text file on the SD card for later reference.
Dictionary Offline has mono-lingual dictionaries for English, German, and Italian, and multi-lingual dictionaries between many language pairs. It supports translations between English and various languages, such as Afrikaans, Arabic, Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and more. Moreover, the app offers support for some less common languages like Basque, Breton, and Welsh.
Note that if the app crashes on your device, especially Sony Ericsson devices, you can change the font to “System default” in the app preferences. The app is based on QuickDic code and licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.
