Take this Blizzard classic anywhere
The release of Diablo Immortal is wonderful news to all fans of the epic Diablo game series. It is basically Diablo jumping out of your screens and into your mobile phones but with its very own story and action-packed adventures. While fans are most likely rejoicing, this is also the perfect time for other players to try and experience the thrill of cleansing the world from evil. This game is free-to-play.
Get ready for a lot of fighting
Diablo Immortal does not fall short when it comes to action. In fact, players will encounter lots of fighting in the game. Just like in its original PC version, swarms of monsters and other dark beings like the goblins and the undead will greet you in the middle of your exploration. That is to say that the fights are not going to be a walk in the park because your enemies cannot be easily defeated.
As you venture towards more dangerous areas, you will meet different kinds of opponents. Eventually, you will encounter weak underlings that can be killed with a single slash of a sword, a bow shot, or a simple magic spell. The further your progress in the game, the stronger your enemies become until you eventually meet the most vital, powerful evil being in an epic boss fight.
Make new friends and team up with others
Getting to play with other players makes the journey more enjoyable. Diablo Immortal also has a multiplayer feature where everyone can get to experience teaming up with others. This makes this fun because players can and will meet other players during their exploration.
From there, they can decide whether to confront the enemy alone or form groups. Teaming up is a good decision, especially if the group is composed of different kinds of heroes. Each character has its own skill set that can complement and support the others, which means it will be easier to take down enemies when all combat areas are covered.
Play the game in your style
Like all the games in the series, you can choose a different character to play and follow their story arc. The following are the six hero classes in Diablo Immortal:
1. Demon Hunter
The Demon Hunter is an assassin whose tragedy has made them a better killer. Demons from hell destroyed his family, and he now lives secretly, striking suddenly at his enemies when they least expect it.
2. Barbarians
The Barbarians were among the few survivors of a massive disaster at Mount Arreat. They wield huge hammers as they battle their foes on the war field.
3. Wizards
Wizards can cast spells to control supernatural forces. They can use their powers from a distance to cause terrible effects.
4. Monk
Monk, an agile holy warrior and master of martial arts, exemplifies the will of Ivgorod. Their quick and nimble maneuvers keep their opponents on edge.
5. Crusaders
Crusaders are filled with a deep and strong faith, which gives them great power. They are equipped with armor that is impervious to harm, and they wander around destroying demons wherever they find them.
6. Necromancers
Necromancers are priests of Rathma and seek to maintain harmony in the world. Their power gives them the ability to control life and death. They keep the sanctuary safe from war.
Being a Demon Hunter or Wizard is more suitable if you are a ranged fighter, as it will allow you to attack enemies from afar without being hit yourself. Further, if you prefer fighting at close range, classes like the Monk, Crusader, and Barbarian will serve you well. Those interested in the dark arts of sorcery should consider picking the Necromancers.
Season 15 Battle Pass unveiled
In the upcoming Season 15 Battle Pass of Diablo Immortal, players can anticipate the introduction of a brand new class known as the Blood Knight. This class is specifically designed to embody the eerie and blood-soaked archetype, specializing in weaponry and offering a distinctive playstyle that sets it apart from the existing classes. The Blood Knight utilizes dual-wielding polearms as its main form of attack, enabling rapid and consecutive strikes against foes.
Embark on your journey of discovery
In this game, you can embark on exciting journeys to far-flung lands, from Zoltun Kulle library to the Wortham or Bilefen forest—plenty of areas await exploration. You will also have the opportunity to experience a brand-new world of Diablo than you ever imagined. Westmarch is a new region in this game. It has roads that stretch endlessly and cities full of life that can fulfill all your needs. You can shop, relax, and socialize with friends and acquaintances—all while exploring a virtual community.
Easy controls
Moving around, executing actions, and launching attacks are made very easy with Diablo Immortal’s responsive and sensitive controls. The characters will move accordingly with the directional buttons you will be pressing. Attacks and special abilities can be activated with just a single press of a button on your screen. As a bonus, calling reinforcements or help from other players is also just a button away, and you can tap on it anytime, even when the middle of an intense fight. However, if you leave this game on for long periods and play it frequently, your phone’s battery will likely drain quickly.
A massive Diablo on Diablo crossover
To celebrate the Diablo 4 release coinciding with the first anniversary of Diablo Immortal, both games will be having a crossover event. This will unlock a host of new content for both games, although there are no crossplay prospects for both games. For Diablo Immortal, players will be able to participate in the Merciless Monstrosity event. This will feature new quests, cosmetics, map location, and a new playable class.
Additional content will come in the form of the Children of Lilith Battle Pass, which rewards players after completing tasks and missions. Players will also access the Hatred’s Heritage Phantom Market to trade and purchase unique items. These new features will give existing players a taste of the Diablo 4 world, serving as a cross-platform marketing effort to hype up the fourth main entry in the Diablo franchise.
Wander after Destruction’s Wake
As Diablo Immortal enjoyed massive player numbers in its first year, it has launched an anniversary event titled Destruction’s Wake. The event features a host of limited-time content as well as introducing new features. Players can now enter the Ancient’s Cradle, a new location in the hidden fringes of the Forgotten Sea. The map and its quests tie into the larger Diablo storyline, making passing hard.
Aside from eight new side quests, a host of new monsters will test the player’s skill, especially since it requires the Hell Difficulty VI to be completed as a prerequisite. Speaking of difficulty, the harder Inferno Difficulty I is now available, which comes with its own leaderboards, a new tier of Legendary Items, and new Stances. Of course, get ready to meet new demons such as Vhansoon, Gebdu, and Khulu.
