Désiré – A Poetic Point-and-Click Adventure Game
Désiré is a unique and poetic point-and-click adventure game in black and white, developed by Sylvain Seccia. The game follows the story of a color-blind boy named Désiré, who has never seen the world in color. The game is divided into 4 chapters, with 50+ scenes, 40+ characters, and a lot of riddles.
The game’s story is a critique of the modern world and the perverting nature of a consumer, profit-obsessed society. Désiré meets several characters who elicit intense emotions and alter his vision in surprising ways, leading him on a journey to discover whether color exists at the end of the road. The game’s tone is both melancholic and joyful, as it tells a deeply human and profoundly singular tale.
