Let your favorite VTuber soar
Delivering Hope is a free simulation game where you have to throw IRyS, a popular English Virtual YouTuber, as far as you can in order to reach the farthest distance. This fan-made game from David Wu SoftDev only requires you to use one button to play the game.
Delivering Hope is yet another indie title that features popular VTubers from hololive production, much like in HoloCure and FLARE NUINUI QUEST. The game also uses audio clips and references from the VTuber’s own streams that fans will be able to quickly recognize.
Click and fly away
Seeing as Delivering Hope only needs one button for you to play the game, this makes it incredibly easy to get the hang of it. You will have to click at the appropriate time to determine the direction you will be throwing in and the strength of your throw. Once you’ve successfully set off, you only have three clicks available to give you a boost and stay in the air.
You can land on powerups that could give you boost charges, a free lift, or a chance to reach farther distances within a short amount of time. However, you’ll also need to avoid items that could slow you down or stop you completely. Pairing this with humorous sound effects and animations creates an entertaining experience. For an extra challenge, try collecting all the achievements as well.
The game is incredibly simple but there is an issue to take note of. The game’s click sensitivity is quite low so it becomes difficult to get the timing of your initial send-off right. This also means that some of the boosts you make in order to stay in the air won’t be recognized unless you click a few extra times.
Casual but incredibly entertaining
Delivering Hope is a simple, direct-to-the-point program that’s great for both fans of hololive production and casual games. The click sensitivity can be quite frustrating to deal with but there’s still a lot for you to enjoy. You can try to beat your best record or simply play just to hear some of your favorite audio clips from IRyS as she flies through the sky.
