Better across the board
Death Stranding was such a divisive game when it was first released, and had its player base cut in two. Some praised its almost meditative gameplay. Meanwhile, others found it to be lacking in content. One thing’s for sure, though, is that it offered a truly unique experience. Death Stranding Director’s Cut is the definitive version that both newcomers and returning players will enjoy.
The director’s cut has quite a long list of new things for you. Feature-wise, it adds support for high frame rate gaming, compatibility with ultra-wide monitors, and a new Photo Mode. Then, it features new cross-over content with the Half-Life series, as well as Cyberpunk 2077. What’s more, the game ensures that you can also stay connected with others all over the world through its Social Strand System.
Finally, this version of the game also comes with some nice in-game goods and bonuses, including a digital artbook and various cosmetic items to personalize Sam and BB with. As of this writing, it’s not officially out yet, but as mentioned earlier, the release date is set for March 30, 2022, which is just a few days away. The wait won’t be for much longer now.
As unique as it has always been
All in all, whether you’re a newcomer or a returning player, Death Stranding Director’s Cut truly is the best version of the game that’s worth giving a try.
