Tactical heist game set in the future

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is a premium role-playing title for PC by developer Trese Brothers. It’s an isometric game that features turn-based combat and is set in a futuristic world with cyberpunk themes. In it, players lead a group of cyber mercenaries that take on jobs for the highest bidder.

Just like with Shadowrun Returns, Cyber Knights: Flashpoint requires quick-thinking and tactics from players in order to succeed. Its characters continually evolve and allow for all kinds of builds and team combinations to adapt to the situations and objectives that each mission will throw at them.

Merc for hire

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is set in a dystopian cyberpunk future of 2231. You will be in charge of building a team of hackers, mercenaries, and thieves as you take on dangerous jobs for the highest bidder. Use cyberware, stealth, and your connections to help you pull off missions as you gain wealth and recognition, and rise through the ranks in the city’s neon-soaked underworld.

The game employs tactical turn-based combat that allows for plenty of customization. Each of the wide variety of characters you’ll control will evolve, grow stronger, and gain new and unique abilities. Experiment and combine various builds in your team to suit the mission and your objectives. You’ll also need to build a base of operations that will help you with recovery and produce the weapons for your team.

What’s more, the game story is quite unique and is reminiscent of pen and paper RPGs that let you essentially create your own story and adventure. Now, if you like it and are interested in playing it, you’ll have to wait for a while longer since it’s not officially out yet. You can check out its official Steam page for more news and updates in the future.

Engage in cyberwarfare

In conclusion, if you’re a fan of tactical cyberpunk games like those from the Shadowrun series, Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is a release that is worth looking out for. It offers the same vibe and presentation, a pen and paper approach to its storytelling, and a varied and customizable gameplay experience. Recommended.
