Single-player action/adventure RPG
Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion is a remastered version of the popular game of the same name. This platform offers users several in-game enhancements, and as a result, it will ultimately provide a more intense end-user experience.
Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion is entirely based on the classic Final Fantasy VII RPG. However, it should be noted that this is not a mod. Instead, it should be downloaded as an entirely separate bundle.
Intense first-person combat
Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion has remained loyal to the entire franchise in regard to in-game combat. Alongside a plethora of powerful weapons, users are once again provided with a first-person perspective. However, an improved battle system should offer an even smoother overall experience.
Visual improvements
The developers of this game have also spent a significant amount of time addressing some graphical issues associated with the legacy version. Examples include sharper backgrounds, more character details, and richer 3D models. Such enhancements are particularly noticeable in cut scenes and first-person battles.
A more “human” experience
Yet another impressive feature of this iteration involves the audio effects that have been included. All characters are now fully voiced in both English and Japanese. The soundtrack has been rearranged by the original composer (Takeharu Ishimoto). Those already familiar with Final Fantasy VII should immediately notice a difference.
A polished platform
Considering the fact that the original Final Fantasy first debuted in 1987, it only makes sense that improvements will take place over time. This version is yet another example of how developers embrace its classical origins while still providing a decidedly modern user experience.
