A multiplayer cricket game for mobile
Cricket League is a free sports title developed by Miniclip.com for mobile devices. It is a cricket game with a focus on online multiplayer gameplay. In it, fans of the sport will be able to play quick matches with other players all over the world.
Compared to Cricket League GCL or Real Cricket 20 which focuses more on the single-player experience and management side of things, Cricket League is all about playing with others. Matches were designed to last only a few minutes, which is perfect for the mobile platform and gaming on the go.
All about quick match-ups
When it comes to sports games, most titles are designed to provide a deep and compelling single-player experience for players. While that’s all well and good, some gamers prefer something more interactive and competitive in nature. There is just some sport that is better when played with others, and Cricket League, a 3D online multiplayer game, can be considered an example.
This cricket game was basically designed with mobile gameplay in mind, allowing you to play quick 2 Over matches with others that last around 3-5 minutes. Controls are also quite intuitive as you only need to learn how to bowl and bat. There are over 25 characters to choose from and multiple locations to play at, including Bangladesh, Australia, and South Africa, just to name a few.
Collect coins to unlock more locations, and buy new ball types to gain an advantage in matches. Compete in different leagues, and make your way to the top of the ranks. The gameplay experience itself could use a lot more work, though. Loading and login times take a long time to finish, and the game suffers from connectivity issues, such as randomly getting disconnected during games.
Cricket in the palm of your hand
If you’re a big fan of cricket and want to be able to play with your friends anywhere, Cricket League is a game worth considering. Its graphics look great, the controls are easy to learn, and you get to choose from a wide variety of players and play matches in stadiums all across the globe. Hopefully, some of its major issues get addressed in an update soon.
