Comedy stand up show multiplayer simulator
Comedy Night is a multiplayer based comedy club simulator. Players create an avatar and then try their material onstage while a crowd of other real players decide their fate with booing or cheering.
Take the stage
Comedy Night is a truly unique concept, pitting random anonymous strangers against each other in a stand up show down. The game worse by joining rooms where the majority of players make up a crowd. Those that are judged to be performing badly can be heckled off stage or win the admiration of the audience. As with many open voice chat systems, a large percentage of people use the opportunity to be as rude as possible while ignoring the core concept of the game. Comedy Night is therefore best enjoyed in private rooms where moderators can kick trolls and enforce rules on participation. This system creates a model closer to the game’s promise and can produces hours of silly fun with others. Performers are obviously required to have a microphone, while audience members can simply emote.
Hecklers galore
Comedy Night is a clever and light-hearted game. The enjoyment of each player will be based on their own personality, as a lot of room is provided for game disruption and inflammatory comments, but creating private rooms is always an option.
