What is Chingari?
Chingari is a short video sharing app that pays its content creators based on how viral their videos become. For every video you upload, you get points per view which can be exchanged for money. As India’s version of TikTok, the app can be translated into one of ten Indian dialects as well as English. The main page of Chingari displays three tabs: Videos, News, and Game Zone.
The video feed takes inspiration from similar apps like Likee and VMate. You can swipe up or down to view videos, and click on the creator’s display picture to see their profile. You will see all their videos displayed as tiles. Other than creating videos, you can also earn from participating in mini-games and quizzes. Chingari games include Bingo, Cut the Rope and Sudoku. Expect the simpler or more straightforward games to load faster than their complex counterparts.
On the News tab, you will find reports from local and international channels. All the articles can be read on the in-app browser. This means you will immediately be able to read the article as compared to switching between apps. By offering credible news channels, you use Changari as your primary source of entertainment and news.
