A fast-paced horror game
C.H.A.S.E.D. is a fast-paced horror game where the player must survive five nights in the main character’s home while also being pursued by a stalker. The player must prevent the malicious entity from getting inside the house. The game features a tense, sinister atmosphere, which is designed to unsettle the player.
The basic gameplay premise of C.H.A.S.E.D. is similar to the popular Five Nights at Freddy’s game. However, the player can move around in this game, making it a little more similar to the recent version of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach.
Keep the stalker out of your home
The game takes place over five nights, where the player must work to keep the sinister stalker from getting into the house. They achieve this by running around the house to check the windows and other points of entry, chasing the stalker away. If they fail to catch the stalker at an entry point before it enters, they will get caught.
Tactics and gameplay mechanics
Beyond ensuring that the player reaches a point of entry before the stalker breaks in, the player must also manage their character’s stamina while running from one place to another. This forces the player to choose wisely about where they will run because aimlessly running around will soon drain stamina and leave them unable to get to a particular place in time.
Unsettling themes and visuals
Naturally, C.H.A.S.E.D. features unsettling visuals, tense moments, and disturbing themes for a horror game. It is generally unsuitable for players with a sensitive disposition. The developer also warns that the game is not suitable for people who are sensitive to flashing lights or players with heart issues.
