Subversive little arcade shooter
Bunny Blaster is a weird little game where you have to shoot bunnies. But when you shoot them, they multiply, and the aim is to breed 1000 bunnies as quickly as possible.
The idea is simple, a bunny sits at the bottom of the screen, with a huge gun over its head. Using the mouse to aim, and left button to fire, the bunnies will start to mount up. To add some variety, there are four guns to use. A simple pistol, multi-shot rifle, machine gun and finally a kind of grenade launcher.
Bunny Blaster’s weapons are progressively more powerful, but you have limited numbers of them, and getting a fast time relies on you no only being lightning quick with your trigger finger, but using your different weapons well.
Bunny Blaster’s simple gameplay won’t last very long, but it’s definitely fun, and you can compete with friends to see who’s the fastest Bunny Blaster. Alternatively, head to the program page, where users have posted their times in the comments. The presentation is cute, and the objects and bunnies on screen all move well.
Once you reach 1000 bunnies, the game stops to give you a time and the stats for how much you used each weapon. Unfortunately, and probably dues to the experimental nature of Bunny Blaster, you have to restart the game to have another go. That doesn’t take long at all, but it’s not good!
Bunny Blaster is a fun little game that turns the usual destructive nature of shooters upside down.
