First-Person VR Game to Conquer Your Your Fear of Heights
Many of us suffer from acrophobia (a fear of heights). Bridge Trek provides players with an entirely safe environment so that they can slowly conquer this unfounded emotion.
Basic Gameplay and Settings
Bridge Trek provides users with a first-person perspective when crossing numerous different types of bridges. As opposed to starting off from dizzying heights, the bridges will become progressively more challenging as one ascends to “higher” levels. The ultimate goal is to successfully cross a glass-bottomed bridge that is hundreds of feet in the air. Thanks to the first-person perspective associated with this unique environment, players can learn balance and negate their fears one step at a time.
One Small Step for Man
Bridge Trek offers a number of variants to encounter. Some basic bridges are constructed of rope while others dangle perilously over fish-filled waters. There are also ladders which need to be negotiated when ascending higher. The good news is that if the player becomes too frightened, he or she can simply remove the VR goggles in order to return to the real world.
