Build bridges in this simulation game

Bridge Project is a simulation game from Halycon Media designed for all amateur engineers. As the name suggests, this is a construction game that challenges you to build bridges. It has various types of bridges that you can design and build from the ground up.

Bridge Project is the successor of the award-winning Bridge Builder game. It has the same gameplay as its predecessor. However, it will have new exciting scenarios and a variety of tasks to complete. Moreover, the graphics are enhanced, and a new physics engine is added to test the bridge you built.

What does the game offer?

As mentioned, Bridge Project follows Bridge Builder and shares the same gameplay as its predecessor. Your task is to construct a huge variety of different bridges, from suspended and folding to car and railway bridges. You will also use various types of materials, including stone, steel, and wood. There are 48 levels in the game, each taking you to different locations, such as towns, rural areas, and even canyons.

More than various bridges and levels to play, the game also offers all-new in-game graphics with a variety of detailed 3D objects. The user interface is also new for easier operation. Moreover, you can now test your bridge using buses and tanks aside from trains, cars, and ships of the first bridge-building game. You can also compare your technical skills against other players using the global online ranking.

However, while it has better features, the game is a technical mess. Physics is mostly wrong when it comes to statics and the dynamics of complex structures. The materials also behave wrong, and there are glitches with the suspension cables. You will also find that many levels have identical setups. Additionally, the bridges behave differently. Sometimes it even collapses during testing without an acceptable reason.

Is the game good?

Overall, Bridge Project is a fun game if you are an engineer wanna-be or simply like building things. It has various bridges that you can build in various locations. You can even use a wide variety of materials. However, there are tons of issues to the game that can be a deal-breaker for many. The levels are almost identical, and the bridges often fail the testing for no apparent reason.
