A physics-based bridge-building game
Bridge! 3 is a physics-based game about bridge-building. The player must construct bridges that span a variety of gaps in such a way that they are strong enough to support the transit of cars and other vehicles. The player will be able to use many types of construction materials, including things like trampolines.
In terms of gameplay, Bridge! 3 is very similar to other physics-based building games such as Bridge Constructor Portal. It may set itself apart somewhat with its use of fully 3D environments in the game world, though the gameplay still takes place in a 2D format.
Build bridges that work
The objective of Bridge! 3 is to enable vehicles to safely transport across gaps in the terrain—such as canyons and rivers—by constructing things that allow that transport. For the most part, this will mean constructing traditional bridges, but the player can also make ramps, trampolines, and other quirky ways of getting the vehicles across.
The laws of physics
The player’s bridge constructions must be structurally sound in order to succeed. If a part of a bridge is not properly supported, it will collapse when the vehicles attempt to cross it. The player will have up to twenty different original components to choose from when constructing their bridges. The game is single-player only but does include a level-building tool that allows the player to create their own levels.
A lot of content to explore
Bridge! 3 features over thirty missions to complete using up to twenty original components and also includes community content that can be explored and contributed to. The player must succeed at missions to progress, giving a sense of achievement and reward. It should be noted that some aspects feel a little unfinished, such as the UI.
