Can you run your own TV station?
Fancy the fast paced life of a newsroom environment? Or do you think you could be the next Rupert Murdoch? If so, you’ll probably have a lot of fun with this game. Your aim to keep the news updated and fresh and improve your ratings so you can make money and upgrade your studio into the biggest in the world. There are an impressive 150 levels in three game modes, with 25 trophies up for grabs.
The game works on a very basic word board. The news comes-up along the bottom of the screen on the news wire eg. “Yuri Gagarin becomes first man in space” and you have to spell this out on the letter board. Other than having to be quite fast, this becomes very boring after only a few minutes. In reality this game is quite disappointing. There seems to be very little difference between all the levels other than the studio upgrading it’s technological features and furniture. In addition, it’s just simply too easy. You’ll find yourself rolling in cash so that upgrading to the next level just becomes ridiculously easy.
A great idea but shame the game never lived up to expectations.
Running a TV station isn’t an easy task – news stories arrive to your desk and you must broadcast them as quickly as possible.
