A free app for Android, by Anthony M Nixon.
Blitzortung is a free real-time app that allows you to view the world's current and historical lightning strikes on a global map.
The app is based on the Blitzortung network, which uses a combination of mobile and web technology to provide users with an accurate, real-time view of lightning activity worldwide.
With the app, you can view a map of the world's lightning activity, see when and where lightning strikes, view an hourly breakdown of lightning activity in your area, and view a list of the most recently detected lightning strikes in your area.
You can also view the current and hourly stats for a particular region, see when and where a lightning strike occurred, and see the location of the lightning strike.
To view the world's lightning activity, you need to be online and have a working connection.
