Epic wars between robots, Worms-style

This program can no longer be downloadedBlastron is a war game between robots, a free turn-based strategy game that incorporates the style, dynamics and gameplay of Worms.

Great game variety

Blastron is set in a future dominated by robots.

While these robots were created by man, they are so powerful, intelligent, and evil that they’ve been able to destroy the entire human race. In this apocalyptic scenario, the robots clash with each other for supremacy in epic Worms-style wars.\n

Blastron allows you to play in single player mode or in an online multiplayer battle against other players. Multiplayer mode lets you choose between 4 game modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Kill Count and Sudden Death.

Tactical skill definitely makes a difference in Blastron: place the robot strategically in the field of play and use weapons appropriate to each situation. Of course, you must aim well to inflict the greatest possible damage on your enemies.

During the game, you can unlock and purchase (with loans or real money) new and powerful weapons to grow your arsenal, as well as technical elements to improve the performance of your robot.

Easy to play

The controls are intuitive and you get a feel for them right from the first gameplay. The virtual pad is responsive and control options for weapons are easy to handle.

The initial tutorial that introduces you to the dynamics of the game is also excellent.

Top quality sound and graphics

The graphics in Blastron are clean, organized and detailed. Some of the robots’ expressions when they’re experiencing the effects of the explosions are hilarious.

The sound effects are also very convincing: both the in-game music and the sounds of gunfire and explosions really catapult you into the combative atmosphere of the game.

It’s like Worms, but better…

If you like turn-based strategy games full of explosions and destruction, Blastron will certainly captivate you.

The battles are fun and the scenes are great. The interesting humor that comes out in some phases of the game (and also in the tutorial) are appreciated.

In general, the influence from Worms is obvious, but credit should be given to the developers, who have been able to create a game of great depth with excellent graphics, sound and gameplay.
