A game for Blinks

Known as BLACKPINK’s OFFICIAL GAME, BLACKPINK THE GAME is a free-to-download gacha and puzzle game where you become Blackpink’s main producer due to a mysterious phenomenon called the Fragment of Chaos. Thus, you’re in charge of building departments, dressing up the members, and many more.

Sometimes, you’ll receive messages from the members themselves. Much like a visual novel, you can select a response—though some parts of the text are cut off. Plus, you can explore the vibrant BLACKPINK World to meet fellow Blinks, play minigames, or customize your favorite member. However, crashes and lags occur in BLACKPINK THE GAME.

Collect and upgrade your photocards

Any Blink will fall in love with TakeOne Company’s BLACKPINK THE GAME. The gameplay is quite similar to match-three games like Candy Crush. However, the twist here is you have to tap on a single tile or draw a shape on the tiles and use a photocard that features the same shape. For example — if you draw an L-shaped line — your photocard must include an illustration of an L-shaped block.

This illustration can be found at the bottom right corner of the photocard. Like other puzzle games, you need to plan and think of your moves as this title has a limit on how many cards you can use in a single stage. A block with a cartoon image of a Blackpink member can be removed by tapping it and selecting a photocard featuring the member in question.

Each card has a corresponding point, which will influence your overall score. The higher your photocard’s point, the faster the star gauge will fill up—increasing your likelihood of getting three stars in a single level. If you can’t fill the bar fast enough, you can get more photocards by pulling in the “Normal Gacha” or “Premium Gacha,” or leveling up your current deck using materials like stardust.

A fun, feature-packed title

In BLACKPINK THE GAME, you can live out your fantasy of becoming Blackpink’s main producer. There’s so much to do here aside from solving puzzles. For example, you can dress up your favorite member, play mini-games, and meet other players, to name a few. You can also pull for photocards in the gacha to help you power through the stages. Unfortunately, the app is susceptible to crashes and lags.
