Blackboard Communications HQ: An App for School Administrators
The Blackboard Communications HQ app, designed by Blackboard Inc. for school administrators, is an Android-based app that allows users to send messages to parents and students anytime, anywhere. The Simple Send™ mobile interface is usability tested to ensure ease of use, making creating and sending messages a one-touch process. The app also has multiple delivery methods, including phone, email, and text, making it easy to contact parents and students in the most effective ways possible.
With the Mobile Directory feature, administrators have access to the entire district’s contact information at their fingertips. This includes parent, student, and staff addresses, phone numbers, and emails.
The app’s key features include creating and sending new messages, sending previously saved messages, sending messages to targeted recipient groups, tracking message delivery progress, managing delivery options, accessing all parent, student, and staff contact information, and adding parents, students, and staff to your contacts.
To use the Blackboard Communications HQ app, you need a Blackboard service and Blackboard administrator login. Internet access is also required, either through wifi or a data plan.
