Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is a 3D pace strategy game in which you command a colonial space fleet from the 2004 remake of sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica. This game covers the events of the first Cylon War, a desperate struggle in which the human colonists thought they had defeated the robotic Cylons.

Combine tactics and strategy

Battles in Battlestar Galactica Deadlock involve commanding a fleet of ships in a turn-based simultaneous-resolution combat. Each side gives their ships orders, which are then executed simultaneously. The key to victory is anticipating your opponent’s moves. Above this tactical layer is a strategic campaign management game, in which you must allocate your fleets and scarce resources to the different fronts of the war, dealing not only with the Cylon threat but with the possibility that colonial worlds will pull out of the alliance if you neglect them. This system can be a little unforgiving: it’s impossible to be sure how big the Cylon fleets are on some side missions, which can lead to costly surprises. The game features a 14-mission single-player campaign as well as both single-player and multiplayer skirmishes. You can even play two-player co-op against the AI.
