A thrilling Undertale and Garfield parody game

Bad Monday Simulator is a free role-playing game from Lumpy that combines the gameplay elements of Undertale with the characters from the iconic Garfield comics. You will have to battle Sansfield, a fusion of Sans — one of the major characters from Undertale — and Garfield — the comic’s titular protagonist.

Bad Monday Simulator, much like in Undertale, uses pixel graphics that give the game a more retro vibe. There are different challenges ahead of you, so make sure to perform the most appropriate actions and use the best items to keep your character alive.

Hours of exciting gameplay

There are three different modes you can play in Bad Monday Simulator — normal, hard, and Monday. Normal mode lets you play with a full health bar and numerous special items, hard mode starts off with half your health bar and fewer items, and Monday takes it to the extremes by kicking off the game with 1 HP and no items to use.

While the controls are pretty easy to master, the game provides a great challenge, even when you’re only playing in normal mode. There are two different endings for each mode, totaling six possible endings in the game overall. This gives you hours upon hours of game time to immerse yourself in. The levels are also challenging enough that you don’t breeze through them too quickly.

One notable downside, however, is that there is currently no option to view the game in full screen. The game is only available in its default size. This can make it quite difficult to play, especially on devices with smaller screens. You can try zooming in on the game to view it in a larger format, however, this is not a foolproof method.

Is it worth it?

Fans of both Undertale and Garfield are sure to find something to enjoy in Bad Monday Simulator. There is a lack of viewing options for the game but the stimulating levels and the number of intriguing endings make it worth checking out. It’s both exciting and tough enough that succeeding even one round is enough of an accomplishment to boast about — even more so when you’re playing in Monday mode.
