Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Painting is an RPG set in a world of anime-influenced fantasy. It takes a “slice of life” approach to its story, allowing the player to take part in the lives of protagonists Lydie and Suelle.

Explore Worlds of Fantasy

The game takes place in a world where young twins Lydie and Suelle are training to become alchemists. They happen across a series of magic paintings, and find that they can enter these images to explore various landscapes. All manner of adventures await them across these magical worlds, and it is the job of the player to ensure they fulfil their quest. Doing so involves collecting items, fighting monsters and learning magic.

A Mixture of Different Gameplay Styles

Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Painting freely mixes a range of gameplay elements in telling the story of Lydie and Suelle. To obtain new items for use in the game, the player must take part in a puzzle-like synthesis system.
